In this event, speed and time are not taken into account - only your map reading ability to judge which is the correctness of the three controls you can see from various points on the map. Thus this event is perfect for those in wheelchairs as well as fully able bodied persons.
Participants will travel around a path in the park. At various locations they will stop and judge from that point which of the three orienteering controls that are visible is the correct one marked on the map there. Thus it is accuracy in map reading skills are what will score you points in this event.
In this event, speed and time are not considered – only your map reading skills to judge which of the three checkpoints you see from various points on the map is the correct one. So this event is ideal for both wheelchair users and fully able-bodied participants.
